Dave Kenyon is self employed as a consultant for Starshine Engineering and Analysis (SEA). His last assignment was as program director and manager for the GeoEye-1 satellite program which was successfully launched in September 2008 from Vandenburg, California. Last year he again worked with GeoEye to support the program.
Gail Day works as a contracts manager for BAE Systems in southern California responsible for the Infrared Countermeasure (IRCM) System for both domestic and international customers. Because her headquarters is in New Hampshire, she spends a lot of time on the east coast as well as in the UK for customer support.
Dave and Gail worked together ten years ago for Orbital Sciences in southern California on the Ozone Mapping Profiler Suite (OMPS) of the National Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System (NPOESS) proposal which Orbital Sciences was not awarded. Dave subsequently then transferred to Orbital Sciences in Dulles, Virginia to continue his career.
Dave and Gail were married in the Cayman Islands on March 11, 2010 and will make southern California their home. Starshine will be moving to southern California as well...
